Perks & Privileges
Armed forces of Pakistan take special care of its men and their families, all ranks of armed forces and their family members, spouses, children and parents are entitled to free medical treatment in Combined Military Hospitals (CMH) all over across Pakistan, every Combined Military Hospital is equipped with highly professional trained and experienced doctors, state of the art machinery and best medicines. Armed forces also offer the housing membership to the officers, if an officer becomes the member of the housing scheme he / she gets the well constructed house at the time of retirement from service. Along with housing scheme the armed forces also provide the residential plots after completion of specific service. The officers are also provided with 50% rebate on air & railway fare on domestic travelling. Every cantonment / base has proper education system, all schools and colleges in cantonments follow the same standard and pattern of education so that once an officer is posted from one station to another the education of children of armed forces officers does not suffer.
All young students MALE and FEMALE both aging between 17 years to 23 years are inducted in armed forces through various types of commission in different arms and corps ranging from normal soldier of Infantry to highly skilled engineers, doctors, pilots, aeronautical engineers and marines.
All three Armed Forces have their Selection and Recruitment centers across Pakistan, where candidates appear for preliminary tests / registration for specific courses. The advertisement is placed in all leading newspapers as soon as the induction in armed forces start for various types of commissions in Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Army.
